DePaul University Libraries
Information For Distance & Online Learners

As a distance or online learner, you have immediate access to many electronic resources from our library databases. You are also eligible for additional services, like having library materials delivered to your home or desktop.

Navigating the Library

Online and distance learning students are always welcome to visit any campus library in person.

Doing Research & Obtaining Materials

Distance and online learning students are eligible to have books from the DePaul Libraries mailed directly to their home or office. If you are a distance or online learning student who lives in the state of Illinois, you may check out books in person at more than 70 I-Share libraries. Some encyclopedias, dictionaries, and other e-books are available in full text through the library web site.

The Library also provides access to the full text of journal and newspaper articles. For articles you cannot access online, we will try to obtain them via interlibrary loan.
