About Vinyl Cutting

Vinyl cutting uses a blade to cut vector-based illustration out of a vinyl sheet or roll that is available in a single color.

Roland CAMM GS-24 Vinyl Cutter

The Roland CAMM GS-24 Vinyl Cutter can cut vinyl that is less than 0.3ml thick. Adhesive sheets of vinyl are available for cutting and choice of colors may vary, but all will be solid colors. The Maker Hub has heat transfer vinyl in white and black, and patrons can bring in their own vinyl as well.

The Roland vinyl cutter utilizes the proprietary software Cut Studio to cut imported images and graphics. Cut Studio also allows users to resize, reposition, and rotate before cutting. Watch this video to learn the basic of Cut Studio to learn more
