Media Viewing Rooms

The media studios include seating for 1 to 2 people. All studios include MacPros with speakers and a microphone, and with single or double screens conducive to video and sound editing.

Cameras, keyboards, analog media players and other hardware can be attached to workstations to serve different purposes such as sound or video recording, presentation practice, podcasting, digitization, and digital preservation. Headphones can be checked out from Access Services on the first floor.

Studio G: Photography and Green Screen Suite

This is a multi-purpose media production suite located on the second floor of the John T. Richardson Library. It can be used for photography, video shoots, and music production.

The suite is equipped with a state-of-the-art lighting system that is programmed with presets for different lighting situations.

Other equipment included:

  • 88-key MIDI-controller keyboard
  • 25-key keyboard with drum pad
  • 2 USB turntables

Headphones and microphones are also available for checkout from the Access Services desk on the first floor.
