Information Commons / CoRE

The CoRE (Collaborative Research Environment) is an open plan computing area on the second floor of the John T. Richardson Library. It has high-powered, dedicated computer workstations (Mac & PC) conducive to digital mapping, text and data mining, 3-D modelling, and data visualization by single users or small groups. The area includes:

  • Single and double high-solution screens
  • Cintiq screens.
  • Reservable group work tables that allow users to plug in computers and other devices and share content on single or double screens.
  • Moveable whiteboards
  • Two "solo booths" for private phone conversations or video conferencing

Reserve a group study room, a work table, solo booth, or request a meeting space using our reservation system.
