Resources for Faculty & Staff

• Course Reserves
  Faculty can request that the Library pull course material and scan it for e-reserves or put it on reserve at the preferred campus. 
• Library Instruction
  Librarians are available to provide library research instruction for DePaul classes.  Support is also offered for online courses. 
• Open Educational Resources
  Guide to OERs and materials available through DePaul Library at not cost to our faculty, students, and staff.
• Creating a stable Link to a Library Resource
  Use the EZproxy URL generator to create a stable link that allows access to library resources on and off campus.
• Research Help for Your Students
  Reference librarians are available to provide one-on-one support for students who stop by the Research Help Desk in person or make an appointment for an in-depth consultation.
• Special Collections & Archives
  Special Collections & Archives provide general instruction in handling and use of the collections, introduction of collections relevant to a specific course, and provide a forum for students to encounter original documents and primary sources.

Submitting to Research Collections

If you have questions about archiving your documents including electronic theses and dissertations or submissions of university records, contact the University Archivist at: archives@depaul.edu

• Borrowing from Other Libraries
  The University Library will borrow worldwide on your behalf.
• Center for Research Libraries
  Supports advanced research and teaching in the humanities, sciences, and social sciences by preserving and making available to scholars the primary source material critical to those disciplines.
• OCLC Faculty Reciprocal Borrowing Program
  Full-time DePaul faculty in good standing with the University Library may gain borrowing privileges and on-site access to the collections of member research libraries throughout North America. You can register to participate in the program using our OCLC Reciprocal Borrowing Registration Form.

Research Analytics 

• Cabell's Directories of Publishing Opportunities
  Directories of publishing opportunities in the fields of Business, Education, Psychology, Computer Science, and Health.
• Journal Citation Reports
  Provides ISI's journal impact factor metrics based on citation data. Helps determine a publication's impact and influence in the global research community.
• Web of Knowledge
  Search platform that provides single point of access to Web of Science, Biological Abstracts, Science Citation Index, Social Sciences Citation Index, and Arts & Humanities Citation Index and Journal Citation Reports. Dates covered: 1980-present.
